End of Summer Leaves Its Mark On Your Skin

Q: Ok, I admit it. I wasn’t that great to my skin this summer. I now am left with brown spots and freckles all over my face. Can I undo this damage and get a clear complexion? Robin, Syracuse A.  Robin, as we just celebrated Labor Day Monday, it is hard for me to believe that it is the unofficial end to summer already. How is that even possible?! The actual first day of fall is not until Sept. 22, so don’t despair. However, with school back in session and the holidays just around the corner it is quite common for people to take note of their skin this time of year. While it sounds like you may have not applied your sunscreen often enough (or at all) and kept up with a medical skin care routine this summer, don’t fret.
